March Scrapbooking Class

Posted by Sonia Hocking on

Hello all,

This weekend I was away at Creative Inspirations hosted by Artdeco Creations. (Hence the delay in this email.)  It was great to see the focus on scrapbooking as well as crafting for "you".  Crafting should be a  fun, stress free, and individualised pursuit, that is, creating things that you like.  It was great to be reminded to  not get hung up on measurements and exact details and enjoy the process.  They inspired us with their talented instructors and designers as well as their soon to be released ranges and I hope to bring you classes using some of these products soon.

This month however we will be working with "A touch of Gold".  These papers and layouts are remarkably versatile and my three single paged layouts contain photos of a formal party occassion and one of a baby in a lemon onesie.  You will be able to create your own headings to suit the photos.  The papers work with photos containing black and white and hues of gold, yellow and brown.

You will need two portrait 4 x 6" (10 x 15cm) photos and one landscape 6 x 4" (15 x 10cm) photo.  If possible printb them with a white border.  You will also be required to bring your trimmer, ruler, pencil, adhesives (tape, fine tipped glue, regular glue  and foam mount), black pen for journalling, black ink pad and dauber/blending tool .

The kit contains a pack of collectables, double-sided paper, speciality paper, metallic paper, cardstock, gold chipboard alphabet, bling. gold doiley and gold transfer foil.

The cost of the class is $43.

The class will be held on Thursday 2nd March, 7-10pm and Saturday 4th March, 1-4:30pm.  Bookings are essential as there are limited numbers of both places and kits.  Class will be limited to 8.

Finally, just a reminder to  From Picture to Page comes to Bendigo this month on the 11th and 12th March.  Its only two weeks away!!!!  I have some  fliers in store listing all of the Fp2p dates and  gives you a discount on your entry ticket.
