recently I purchased packs of Ecoline Brush Pens for the shop. I had a little play with them and while I was impressed with their vibrancy I was not making full use of their capabilities until recently. In the last fortnight I have had a terrific play with them.
I came up with these cards for our March card class, this week, 22nd March.
They react fabulously with water and once dry can be reactivated. The more water the softer the colour , go sparing with the water and create vibrant colours.
The cards on the left were created by adding the markers to good quality watercolour paper and then misting enough to blend the colours.
The card centre top was stamped and the pens were applied directly to the stamp and then misted.
For the card lower centre I created a watercolour "paint pallete" using the markers on an acrylic block and mixing and accessing them with a water colour brush.
Finally the card on the right shows how beautifully the colours blend and once again I have created a paint palette on an acrylic block and added the colour to lighter warer colour paper and mixed and blended as I worked my way up the piece of embossed paper.
